In 2005, UNFPA led an assessment of the FC programming potential / status in Nigeria. 

Following the assessment, an action plan for programme implementation was developed and initiated. 

Train-the-trainers sessions were held in the fourth quarter 2005, and distribution of FC should be initiated in early 2006.
