In August 1999 Population Services International
(PSI) and its local NGO partner Famme launched a project called “Soeur a Soeur”. The objective of the campaign was to reduce the transmission of HIV/AIDS by empowering Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) to practice safer sex by increasing access to FC. The project has just reached the end of its third year.
