Richard E. Wenninger

Chicago (July 30, 2001) – On July 20, 2001 The Female Health Company’s (OTC BB FHCO) Board of Directors voted unanimously to appoint Richard E. Wenninger as a Director of the Company.  

Mr. Wenninger is currently Chairman of Wenninger Company Inc. of Milwaukee, mechanical contractors and engineers.  In addition, Mr. Wenninger is a Founder and Secretary of Wennsoft, Inc, a software development sales and service company, and a Founder and President of Wennreal LLC, a real estate company.  He is a current or former Board member of the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association of Milwaukee, Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Milwaukee, and Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).  Mr. Wenninger is the recipient of the E. Robert Kent Award for technical innovation and the Distinguished Service award from the MCAA.  In addition, Mr. Wenninger is a current or former Board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee, The Milwaukee Athletic Club, The Wisconsin Psychoanalytic Foundation and The University Lake School.  Mr. Wenninger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin. 

With his appointment to the Board, Directors and Executive Officers now beneficially own approximately 45.8% of the Company’s outstanding shares.
